Elizabeth Hurley is no stranger to wearing very sexy outfits on the red carpet.

In fact, her career was launched when she wore that famous Versace that dress held together by nothing more than giant gold safety pins, which was pictured on the covers of newspapers throughout the world.

At the Love Ball 2010, one of London fashion week many charity events, Hurley wore a charcoal and blue colored silk sari and decided to follow one of the trends spotted at several fashion shows this year – the barless look.

As she was photographed on the blue carpet, the photographer flash clearly revealed the look.

In the photos, Hurley really bedazzled the audience, much like her famous movie part in the movie Bedazzled or wearing that famous Versace dress – that dress held together with only giant golden safety pins.

Growing up in Basingstoke, England, she got caught up in the British punk movement.

Liz fashion statement at age sixteen was very punk, including wearing pink hair and a nose ring.

She was give a number to contact Versace public relation person, but his people told her that they didn't have any evening wear, but there was one item left in their press office.

So she tried it on and that was it."

After wearing the low-cut, black Versace dress that was held together by nothing more than gold safety pins to the premier, Elizabeth Hurley and "that dress" were featured on the covers of newspapers throughout the world.

This lead to Elizabeth Hurley being chosen to be the model for Estee Lauder cosmetics and perfumes beginning in 1995.

As they say, the rest is history, including a long term relationship with Actor Hugh Grant and her marriage to Indian textile heir Arun Nayar.
